Netball Team Wins First Flag
Congratulations to our women's netball team who last night won their first flag against Kilmore. The girls came out firing in the first quarter to get a 6 goal lead up. This continued into half time with the score 10 - 4. Third quarter we increased the lead to 9 goals. By then the girls were unstoppable winning the flag 21-15. Congratulations to Drew White on coaching the netball team to their first flag. Jarrod Shaw Retires
Yesterday club legend and stalwart, Jarrod Shaw, hung up his boots. Shawry played more than 250 games for the Bears and is one of the most decorated players of the recent era. He is a multiple B&Fs, premiership player, captain, coach, and life member. Shawry, the players, committee and supporters of the LPFNC thank you for all that you have contributed on and off the field since you first pulled on our guernsey in 2004.
